Every commercial radio station in the UK has requirements in respect of its music and local content, such as news, speech content and live output. These requirements are set out in the station "Format", a document issued by Ofcom the UK's radio regulator.
The L107 Public File is intended to give you a better understanding of our radio station and our output and what we are doing for our local area of Lanarkshire and the local community.
L107 broadcasts locally produced and presented news bulletins on the hour between 7am and 7pm from Monday to Friday and also headline updates as local stories break via our website . In addition we broadcast national news headlines courtesy of Independent Radio News in London between 7pm and 10pm and 1am to 7am from Monday to Friday. At the weekend we broadcast local news bulletins 7am to 11am (inc Independent Radio News) rest of weekend are from Independent Radio News in London on the hour .

Programming And Automation.
We Are live on air 24hrs a day (all shows are live no Automation)
We at L107 have a great interest in the community.We have been at the Big firework display in Strathclyde Country Park with our live roadshow . We also pride ourselves in being the choice of local town centres, Christmas lights switch on with our road show.
We have also been out in the community with Strathclyde Police in 3 of the local towns.
L107 have also been involved with Clic Sargent and the Hamilton Palace raising money for the children's cancer charity and many other local community groups .
We also pride ourselves in our what's on feature which is live every hour 8am to 10pm weekdays,helping local groups and Charities to advertise, fundraise etc .
